A Word of Warning

This blog is my way of getting some things off my chest about what's being done to our planet and to our country. So, please read this paragraph as a sort of cautionary statement. If you're a neo-conservative and/or a religious fundamentalist of some sort, this is not the blog for you. I have nothing but contempt for you and what you're trying to do to the world. Nor am I going to be necessarily politically correct. So, for the overly sensitive of you, don't say I didn't warn you!

"Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction." - Blaise Pascal (1623-62)

"We can have democracy in this country, or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can't have both." - Louis D. Brandeis, U.S. Supreme Court Justice (1856-1941)

"History teaches us that it is always in the sacred name of religion that the most violent passions of humankind have been aroused and the most horrible crimes committed." - Sir Wilfrid Laurier, 7th Prime Minister of Canada (1841-1919)
